The outreach committee seeks to build relationships with our neighbors, local organizations and churches, creating a sense of community and enabling us to share our gifts and the love and grace of Jesus. 

NWI No Child Hungry

Director:  Gretchen Mercer
Helping local students who are food-insecure. Many students rely on the food they receive during the school week to sustain them through the weekend. Every weekend during the school year, NWI No Child Hungry provides Buddy Bags, kid-friendly sacks of food (non-perishable breakfast, lunch, dinner and treat. Each student who participates receives two (2) bags to cover Saturday and Sunday. You can reach Gretchen at (219) 730-5928.​

Morning Star Circle

Morning Star Circle meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 9:30 am. The groups goal is to encourage women to gather for fellowship, prayer & spiritual growth. Participation provides opportunities for service in the church, neighborhood, nation and world. Please call the office for contact information.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The prayer shawl ministry shares their handmade gifts of comfort with those in need, whether they be recuperating, grieving or simply need a reminder that they are loved. Let us know if you knit or crochet and are interested in participating.

Pastoral Care

Administering compassionate care and visitation for individuals who are hospitalized, home-bound or in need. Please feel free to reach out to the Pastor or to the office if you have any questions or concerns.
