The outreach committee seeks to build relationships with our neighbors, local organizations and churches, creating a sense of community and enabling us to share our gifts and the love and grace of Jesus. NWI No Child HungryDirector: Gretchen Mercer
Helping local students who are food-insecure. Many students rely on the food they receive during the school week to sustain them through the weekend. Every weekend during the school year, NWI No Child Hungry provides Buddy Bags, kid-friendly sacks of food (non-perishable breakfast, lunch, dinner and treat. Administering compassionate care and visitation for individuals who are hospitalized, home-bound or in need. Please feel free to reach out to the Pastor or to the office if you have any questions or concerns. Food MinistryLoaves and Fishes, our in-house food ministry, provides easy-to-obtain, supplemental food to those in need. Food insecurity can be an embarrassing situation, but we want you to feel comfortable here. By answering only a few simple questions, you can "shop" for the items you need.
Loaves and Fishes is open on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month, from 9am to noon. Please enter the South doors by the circle drive. |
